So, no new post last week. It’s been a whirlwind lately, with major job changes and house changes and general life changes, and then last Sunday we lost our kitty Ted. So Monday kind of came and went without a post, then it was Wednesday, Thursday, Friday… and I decided I’d double up this week. So here’s your first one. It’s mildly phoned in, I know. But it’s what I’ve got right this second and there’s a distinct possibility that some of you haven’t seen some of these. So it’s still new to you, right? RIGHT??
OK. Here we go.
Restaurant review of Pera on Henderson. It was awesome, then it was… less awesome.
Recipe for Peanut Noodles. These are awesome, always. If you don’t like pork, ground chicken or turkey would be totally yummy too. Or leave the meat off completely. You do you.
Review of Off-Site Kitchen. Yes, everyone knows they make a good burger. But what blew my mind were the non-burger options.
Recipe for Oxtail “Osso Buco.” Osso Buco means “bone with a hole,” and this is technically not that, but it’s still delicious and just go make it.
And here’s a photo of Teddy with his best buddy, Booby, who we lost 5 years ago today. They are having an excellent time snuggling and generally being adorable in pet heaven.
